Bedon-Lucas House Weather Stabilization Project

The South Carolina Department of Archives and History has awarded the Colleton County Historical and Preservation Society (CCHAPS) a grant for the stabilization and weatherization of the Bedon-Lucas House located at 205 Church Street, Walterboro, SC. 

​You are invited to submit a sealed bid by July 20, 2026 at 12:00 Noon. Bids may be mailed or delivered by hand or by express courier to our office at 205 Church Street, Walterboro, SC 29488. Our office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Please mark the outside of the envelope with “Bedon-Lucas House Weather Stabilization Project.”
All work must be completed by December 4, 2026 and must be in accordance with The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
The Invitation to Bid, including a detailed Scope of Work with specifications, are posted on our website www.cchaps.com. All questions may be directed to info@cchaps.com. Please note the office will be closed the week of June 29 to July 3, but messages and emails will be checked.
