About the event

Bob Grenko's pen and ink drawings exquisitely evoke the south with unparalleled details.

Bob Grenkois a nationally renowned artist who graduated from the Chicago Art Institute. Most of Bob's career was spent with large advertising firms as a designer in New York and San Francisco. He relocated to the Lowcountry when his son decided to go to The Citadel. He studied in Europe with Picasso and other notable artists of the middle 20th century. Grenko was recognized in 2014 by Governor Nikki Haley as an outstanding artist of South Carolina. Bob was well known for sketches of old barns and basically, any subject that embodied Southern history! His prolific hand in capturing the Lowcountry of SC is important for us to pass to future generations.

Come see an exhibit unequaled and learn in-depth stories about this fascinating artist!
